Womens Walking Shoes Reviews
Now that you’re determined to buy a pair of rocker shoes, you may find yourself asking what are the best women’s walking shoes to buy? You want something that will help you burn more calories, but look nice at the same time right? How about possibly relieving you of pain or improving your health? These shoes are typically a $100 + investment so you want to make the right choice.
Below is a review of Skechers Shape Ups, MBT Shoes and Reebok EasyTones–the three major businesses that offer toning shoes.
Skechers Shape Ups
One of the more affordable shape shoes, Skechers Shape Ups have pronounced rocker soles to give you the effect that you are walking on sand. Skechers states that this not only improves your posture, but helps you burn more calories. One of the best features (in my opinion) is that there is a lot of variety in designs, which include boots, sandals, Mary Janes and clogs. The price generally runs from $100 to $130.
MBT Shoes
Masai Barefoot Technology (MBT) is the company that started it all. MBT seems to focus more on the rocker shoe health benefits as they state that the rolling action helps you maintain balance, aids in knee and back problems, eases neck tension and relieves joint pain. Styles come in “Professional,” “Athletic” and “Casual” and the price generally starts at $250. Though pricey, you get what you pay for and these shoes are built to last.
Reebok EasyTones
Taking a different approach, Reebok’s EasyTones use balance pods to give you a balance ball effect that makes your muscles work harder. As a result, you get a shoe that doesn’t have such an obvious, curved sole. According to Reebok, lab studies indicated that “… EasyTone footwear with balance ball inspired technology generated 28% more gluteus maximus muscle activation, 11% more hamstring activation, and 11% more calf activation.” EasyTones come in the traditional, athletic style, and flip flops. Prices range between $59.98 to $124.98.
So the rocker shoes that you buy come down to your needs, the styles that you like and, of course, your budget. If you still need help making the decision, check out the YouTube video on the top of this page.
